في هذه الحلقة من «سوالف من رأس الخيمة»، يصحبنا الباحث في التراث يوسف عبيد بخيت السويدي في رحلة نتعرّف من خلالها إلى وسائل التواصل والتراسل التي اعتمد عليها أهالي رأس الخيمة قديماً، قبل ظهور وسائل الاتصال الحديثة.
ويستعرض الباحث أساليب انتقال الرسائل والأخبار بين الناس والمناطق، إذ كانت تعتمد على المسافرين والتجار والسفن. كما يسلط الضوء على أدوات الكتابة والقرطاسية التي كانت تُستورد من دولة الكويت ومملكة البحرين الشقيقتين، وصولاً إلى دخول الطباعة وافتتاح مكاتب الخدمات البريدية، التي شكّلت مرحلة جديدة في تطور وسائل التواصل في الإمارة.

The episode also covers the introduction of printing and the establishment of postal services, which marked a new chapter in the way people connected across the Emirate.
