Ras Al Khaimah Sailing Academy

RAK Sailing Academy is the new sailing project ,set up by Italy's well known sailors family Malingri di Bagnolo, in Al Hamra Marina in Ras Al Khaimah.

Al Hamra Marina's wind and sea characteristics are the perfect sailing conditions.

With is safe location of lagoons to train children and first level sailors, with the nice open water beach, the three surrounding luxury hotels, provide the most suitable location for RAK Sailing Academy to perform.

Overseen by experienced sailors, Captain John Curran, Edoardo Callegari and Matteo Bassan the RAK Sailing Academy is equipped with dinghy, catamaran, and fix keel race and cruise sailing boats for juniors and seniors.

The academy will also receive constant guidance from Enrico, Franco Malingri di Bagnolo and Antonio Fresco.

Being a first for the UAE, the sailing academy is set to make Al Hamra Marina & Yacht Club the centre of sailing and yachting in the Arabian Gulf area.

Mr. Enrico has chosen Al Hamra Marina specifically to encourage residents and upcoming sailors within RAK, to provide them with the opportunity to learn how to sail and participate in international sailing events.

The academy will utilize the sailing cruiser boat facility where off-shore courses will be held.
